Disney-Pixar to Acquire The Walt Disney Company: The Wall

Disney-pixar has confirmed that it will acquire the Walt Disney Co., with the company announcing today that it is acquiring the Walt, Pixar and DreamWorks Animation studios.
Disney-based Pixar will continue to operate under the DreamWorks banner and will continue producing and distributing movies for a new Disney-branded home video channel.
Disney is a major force in the world of film and television and has produced films that have been critical and commercial successes in the US and internationally.
Disney has also released numerous hit films including Frozen, Zootopia, Finding Dory, Finding Nemo, The Lion King, Toy Story 3, The Little Mermaid, Winnie the Pooh, Finding Prince Charming and many others.
The company has a huge number of animated films and a number of films based on Disney properties, including Frozen and The Jungle Book.
Disney and Pixar are expected to be the biggest content creators for the Disney-owned content network.
According to the Disney press release, “Disney will retain its leadership positions in entertainment and distribution for many years to come, including Disney’s role in providing the programming, creative and distribution assets for Walt Disney World Resort, Walt Disney Studios and Disney Consumer Products.
