A ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 3 Trailer: The Battle of the Seven Kingdoms

This week, HBO announced a new Game of Thrones Season 3 trailer, a video that looks to be the first official teaser of the series.

This time, the battle of Westeros will take place in a “world without kings,” which the series creators and showrunners have been teasing for some time now.

“We’ve got the Battle of Dragonstone and we’ve got a lot of other battles that take place over the course of the seven kingdoms,” executive producer David Benioff said.

“So we wanted to create a little bit of a backdrop for it that kind of captured that feeling that the series is taking on.”

Benioff went on to describe how the series will play out over the next few years: “We’ve created a kind of mini-series where we’re going to tell the story of the Targaryen dynasty.

We’ll also introduce the Seven Kings of Westerland, which will be the king of the North.”

So, in short, Westeros is in the grip of a new and mysterious threat, but the series still hasn’t revealed a clear endgame.

If the showrunners are as confident as Benioef, the Targarian army will be heading to Westeros soon.
